Quality and Compliance Policy

IMTC-Ricardo is a private maritime training center based in Batumi that delivers short professional courses for seafarers in full compliance with STCW 78 and applicable IMO and national regulations. Our mission is to provide practical, safe, and up‑to‑date training that enables seafarers to meet employer and regulatory requirements.

We ensure that all training programs and instructional materials are developed and delivered in accordance with current international and national standards. Our quality policy includes the following commitments: the policy is published and available for review at our office; staff and instructors are informed of its content and apply its requirements in daily operations; and copies of the policy are provided to interested parties upon request.

Responsibility for implementing and monitoring this policy rests with the management of the training center. We conduct regular reviews of courses, teaching methods, and internal procedures to reflect changes in regulations and to adopt industry best practices. This process covers curriculum updates, instructor qualifications, equipment checks, and feedback monitoring from course participants.
